| Black Bears Lose, 5-4, at San Jose Municipal Stadium | The Silicon Valley Hackers scored a 5-4 win versus the Fraser Valley Black Bears at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Silicon Valley third baseman Ietsuna Endo nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Butch Eviston, credited with the save, is now 4 for 5 in save opportunities. The win boosts the Hackers to 49-51. The loss puts the Black Bears at 62-37.
Issei Maruyama aided the Silicon Valley cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 4.
