| Shamrocks Win at Cincinnati, 5-0 | Pacifica starter Dan Lovell pitched effectively against the Cincinnati Snaps at The Studio. The left-hander led his team to a 5-0 win. The winning pitcher was Lovell, now 8-5. He tossed 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 6. The Shamrocks bumped their record to 56-46 with this latest triumph.
The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from first baseman Eric Marino. For the game, Marino went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Pacifica a 2-0 lead.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Marino told the Pacifica Daily News.
