| Spartans Mow Down Rams, 9-2 | The Sandy Springs Spartans topped the Frisco Rams, 9-2, with center fielder Jason Cizek playing a big role. Cizek went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Spartans in the win. Sandy Springs reliever Miguel Padilla was credited with the win, to go to 5-3. Flavio Cervantez took the loss for Frisco. The Spartans improved to 42-55.
Chaz Farris hit a 2-run double off Flavio Cervantez in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Spartans in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, Farris had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
