| Rats Get Past Long Island for 5-4 Win | Rock River starter José Mendoza pitched effectively against the Long Island Ducks at Long Island Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 5-4 win. Marlin Bryan converted his 18th save in 21 tries. The 'W' lifts Rock River's record to 46-49.
