| Storm Troopers Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | Despite a great performance by Madison catcher Roberto Alvarado, the San Antonio Storm Troopers defeated the Beehive by the score of 3-2 at The Clone Army. Alvarado was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. San Antonio improves to 57-39 with the win. They lead their division by 2½ games.
The Storm Troopers got a big at-bat from second baseman Esteban Martinez. For the game, Martinez was 1 for 5 with a hit by pitch. In the bottom of the 12th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 49th hit of the season gave San Antonio a 3-2 lead.
