| Red Bulls Get One-Run Win at Silicon Valley | The Riverside Red Bulls got a strong performance from pitcher Mike True, who stymied the Silicon Valley offense en route to a 2-1 win at San Jose Municipal Stadium. True went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 1. His record improves to 3-5. The Red Bulls bumped their record to 51-43 with this latest triumph.
The Red Bulls got a big at-bat from second baseman Alfredo Morales. For the game, Morales was 2-3 with 2 singles and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 80th hit of the season gave Riverside a 2-0 lead.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Riverside skipper Roger Reynolds.
