| Hawks Turn Back Red Bulls, 2-1 | It was a good time at Basque Block Field, where fans came to watch the Riverside Red Bulls and Boise Hawks get after it.
Chotaro Matsuno pitched well, but the Riverside Red Bulls still lost the game, falling 2-1 to the Boise Hawks at Basque Block Field. Boise reliever Preston Williams was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Chotaro Matsuno. Ray Toye notched his 17th save in 23 chances.
Darren Marsh aided the Boise cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman went 1-3 with a home run.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Marsh.
