| Monarchs Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win | The Marysville Monarchs downed the Biloxi Bullets, 7-5, in 10 innings. Doug Djordjevic led the way, going 1-for-1 for Marysville. Marysville reliever Juan Ayala picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Naoyuki Kikuchi took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Monarchs.
Djordjevic had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Naoyuki Kikuchi, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Monarchs a 7-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Djordjevic.
"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Djordjevic.
