Great Day for Morales in Red Bulls Win

Riverside second baseman Alfredo Morales was instrumental in his team's 7-2 win over the Boise Hawks. Morales, who is tied for 5th in the RAA with a .318 batting average, went 3-4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Red Bulls. Javier Figueroa got credit for the win, improving to 11-3. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 6 innings. Héctor González got the save, his 4th in 6 chances.

It could have been a different outcome for Riverside, had it not been for Steve Owensby, the 25-year old center fielder . Owensby contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put Riverside up, 2-1.
