| Vesuvius Throttle Robins, 8-1 | The 2038 season is getting ugly for Bristol.
The Cape Verde Vesuvius got a strong performance from pitcher Tommy Pucher, who stymied the Bristol offense en route to a 8-1 win at Conduit Caverns. The Vesuvius bumped their record to 48-41 with this latest triumph.
Danny Frampton, who is tied for 9th in the RAA in home runs with 12, aided the Cape Verde cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-2 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Tommy was pounding the zone," said Cape Verde manager Eduardo Flores.
