| Ruiz Helps Storm Troopers Run Win Streak to 3 | Storm Troopers left fielder Edwin Ruiz put his stamp on his team's 6-2 win over the Cincinnati Snaps. Ruiz was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for San Antonio in the contest. Danny Moreno was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 4 walks and 7 strikeouts. The Storm Troopers bumped their record to 53-38 with this latest triumph.
Ruiz contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for San Antonio in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Ruiz took a fastball from Edwin Carrizosa and stroked the home run to right-center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Storm Troopers to leap in front, 5-2.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Ruiz.
