Pepple goes 3-for-4, Monarchs Move to 63-31

The Marysville Monarchs topped the Biloxi Bullets by the score of 15-4, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Matt Pepple. Pepple went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Monarchs. The Monarchs bumped their record to 63-31 with this latest triumph.

With Marysville leading 10-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Pepple came up to bat against Biloxi pitcher Andrew Thompson. Pepple hit a fastball to right for a bases-clearing double. His 12th double of the season put the Monarchs on top, 13-1.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Pepple.
