| Tune-Ups Turn Back Riverside, 6-4 | The Youngstown Tune-Ups picked up a win at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum, knocking off the Riverside Red Bulls, 6-4. Starting pitcher Larry Sceviour, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Tune-Ups now have a record of 39-47 with the win over Riverside.
Mike Ray aided the Youngstown cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Sceviour. "Successful pitchers do it."
