| Archer Sensational for Marauders | The Bradenton Marauders defeated the Madison Beehive, 2-1, in TMLAA action at The Field at Bradenton, with Bradenton pitcher Dean Archer named player of the game. Mario Michaca converted his 15th save in 19 tries. Bradenton bumps their record to 38-48 with the win.
Archer earned the win to move to 6-7. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 2 hits, striking out 7 and walking 0. The right-hander allowed the Beehive few scoring opportunities.
Archer said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
