| Ducks Lose, 8-4, at The Stetson Bowl | Getting a good performance from first baseman Iori Umeda, the Fraser Valley Black Bears defeated the Long Island Ducks, 8-4. Umeda went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Black Bears. Carlos Delgado earned the win to go to 8-3. He allowed 4 earned runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 9 strikeouts. The Black Bears have an impressive 52-32 record.
The Black Bears got a big at-bat from catcher Stephen Patty. For the game, Patty went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 20th double of the season gave Fraser Valley a 4-2 lead.
