Rams Fall Short, 8-7, at Silicon Valley

Hackers shortstop Bobby Rosa put his stamp on his team's 8-7 win over the Frisco Rams. Rosa went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Silicon Valley in the contest. Naotake Nakamura was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities. The second-place Hackers are now 41-44, the Rams 40-45.

Rosa contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Silicon Valley in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-3, Rosa took a slider from Danny Guzman and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Hackers to leap in front, 6-4.

"It feels good to get this one," Rosa told the Silicon Valley Today.
