| Black Knights Subdue Belfast, 1-0 | The Brooklyn Black Knights defeated the Belfast Titanic, 1-0, in Roberto Clemente League action at Blue Ivy Stadium, with Brooklyn pitcher John Swope named player of the game. Ji-hwan Yea, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 9th save. The Black Knights bumped their record to 23-19 with this latest triumph.
The Black Knights got a big at-bat from first baseman Kevin Howard. For the game, Howard was 1 for 3 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Brooklyn a 1-0 lead.
"We did just enough to win," Swope said.
