| Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Tune-Ups | The Youngstown Tune-Ups eked out a 6-5 win versus the Silicon Valley Hackers at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Jose Negron, who captured player of the game honors. Youngstown is 5th in the RCLAA Lou Piniella League with a record of 53-66.
Jorge Juarez was the walk-off hero for Youngstown. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Tune-Ups designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Juarez said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
