| Rob Sizzles -- Smokes Grays for 5 Hits | There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget.
Yashpal Rob of the Mile High Mustangs had one such moment at McNichols Stadium today, when he went 5 for 6 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Mile High fell to a 8-6 defeat to the Georgia Grays.
"This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 26-year-old left fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game."
Yashpal Rob singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Xian Wang in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th, doubled in the 10th and flied out in the 11th.
Rob's current batting average stands at .314 and he has chalked up 2 home runs and 15 RBIs. |
