| Beetlecats Fall Short at San Antonio | The San Antonio Storm Troopers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Danny Moreno, who muffled the Buzzard's Bay offense en route to a tight 2-1 Storm Troopers win at The Clone Army. San Antonio reliever Vincenzo Rizzoli picked up the win, upping his record to 7-5. Justin Keling shouldered the loss. The Storm Troopers bumped their record to 47-34 with this latest triumph.
The Storm Troopers got a big at-bat from shortstop Hugo Herrera. For the game, Herrera went 1 for 1. In the bottom of the 11th, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 16th hit of the season gave San Antonio a 2-1 lead.
Herrera said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
