| Late Rally by Tune-Ups Secures Win | The Rat Hole was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Youngstown Tune-Ups and the Rock River Rats.
Li-cong Ju helped his team muscle past the Rock River Rats, 6-5. In the game, the Youngstown shortstop was 2 for 4 with a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Dave Dyke was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 19 of 23 save opportunities.
Had Chad Reed not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Reed hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Tune-Ups.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Rock River manager Will Hunt. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
The Tune-Ups now have a record of 37-42 with the win over Rock River.
