| Republic Mow Down Beavers, 9-2 | The So Cal Republic downed the Portland Beavers, 9-2, at Waterfront Park. Zeus Mayhem led the way, going 3-for-5 for So Cal. So Cal starter Masafumi Tamura was credited with the win after throwing 90 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. The Republic have an impressive 28-16 record.
The Republic got a big at-bat from third baseman Jong-min Kim Jr.. For the game, Kim Jr. was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave So Cal a 2-0 lead.
