| Snaps Come Back Late to Clip Robins | The Cincinnati Snaps picked up a win at The Studio, knocking off the Bristol Robins, 2-1. Starting pitcher Pedro Cerna, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The win was credited to Sean Bonin in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Arturo Mercado took the loss. The Snaps bumped their record to 39-39 with this latest triumph.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Cincinnati trailing 1-0, Travis Walsh hit a fastball from Arturo Mercado to right-center for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Snaps had a walk-off win.
"Feels good to get the job done," Cerna said after the game.
