Pope Helps Cabo San Lucas Cruise to 10-3 Win

The Cabo San Lucas Toreros defeated the Vancouver Pioneers, 10-3, in Thurman Munson League action at "The Fort" at B.C. Place, with Cabo San Lucas second baseman Mike Pope named player of the game. The Toreros bumped their record to 23-17 with this latest triumph.

Kerry Hood aided the Cabo San Lucas cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the first. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Hood told the Cabo San Lucas Daily.
