| Beehive Mow Down Shamrocks, 9-1 | Madison center fielder Danny Cancino made his presence felt in the 9-1 Beehive triumph over the Pacifica Shamrocks. Cancino went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 3 times. Madison is now riding a 5-game win streak.
Bill Crincoli had a big run-scoring single for the Beehive in the bottom of the second inning. With Madison leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Yoichibei Omura and stroked the single to center. It was his 82nd hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Beehive ahead, 2-0.
"We came out aggressive," said Beehive manager Kiyomori Shimizu. "We came out swinging the bats."
