| Bullets Pull Even With 7-2 Victory | The Biloxi Bullets defeated the Sandy Springs Spartans, 7-2, in Cory Lidle League action at The Sand Dune, with Biloxi second baseman Luis Valdez named player of the game. The Bullets bumped their record to 37-37 with this latest triumph.
Jose Martinez aided the Biloxi cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter went 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Biloxi manager Matt Tinker. "Our pregame was pretty good."
