Storm Troopers Prevail, 3-2, Over Fraser Valley

San Antonio starter Chris Tattrie pitched effectively against the Fraser Valley Black Bears at The Stetson Bowl. The left-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. Eric Markle was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 11 save opportunities. San Antonio is now riding a 5-game win streak.

It could have been a different outcome for San Antonio, had it not been for Eddie Govin, the 26-year old third baseman . Govin contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the seventh inning to put San Antonio up, 3-2.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Tattrie.
