| Vesuvius Edge Rams, 2-1 | Cape Verde pitcher Javier Polanco did his part in helping his team beat the Frisco Rams, 2-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Cape Verde reliever Junichiro Kobayashi picked up the win to move to 2-2. Luis Navarro suffered the loss. Francisco Morales notched his 19th save in 20 chances.
The Vesuvius got a big at-bat from second baseman Yeong-il Choy. For the game, Choy went 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 35th hit of the season gave Cape Verde a 2-0 lead.

The Vesuvius bumped their record to 38-33 with this latest triumph.
