Fosbrink Delivers Walk-Off Win for Marauders

The Bradenton Marauders topped the DeKalb Cornhuskers by the score of 9-8, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Evan Wescott. Wescott was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Marauders on the day. Bradenton reliever Mario Michaca picked up the win, upping his record to 3-5. Ray Burns absorbed the loss. Bradenton is last in the Roy Halladay League Jim Leyland Division with a record of 30-43.

The Marauders got a big at-bat from first baseman Jeff Fosbrink. For the game, Fosbrink went 1 for 2. In the bottom of the tenth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 21st hit of the season gave Bradenton a 9-8 lead.
