| Sasquatch Need Extras to Top Texans | The Seattle Sasquatch topped the Dallas Texans, 7-5, in Roberto Clemente League action at Metroplex Park. The player of the game was Seattle third baseman Francisco Valdéz. Seattle has an impressive 28-13 record.
Valdéz had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a 1-1 fastball from Tomio Nakahara, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Sasquatch a 7-5 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Valdéz.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Valdéz, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
