| Hagiwara Helps Spartans Run Win Streak to 3 | Sandy Springs and San Antonio duked it out at The Clone Army and the Spartans came out victorious.
Sandy Springs catcher Yasushi Hagiwara had a 6-RBI game, which helped his team beat the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 7-5. Sandy Springs reliever Chris Roberts was credited with the win, to go to 2-3. Vincenzo Rizzoli took the loss for San Antonio.
Hagiwara had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a 2-2 fastball from Vincenzo Rizzoli, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Spartans a 6-5 lead. It was the 15th double of the year for Hagiwara.
Hagiwara told a Sandy Springs Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
Sandy Springs is now riding a 3-game win streak.
