| Shamrocks Win at Jacksonville, 3-0 | The Pacifica Shamrocks and Jacksonville Hellcats completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Jacksonville Hellcats went down to defeat to Dedrick Savage and his Pacifica teammates. The final score was 3-0 in favor of the Shamrocks. Savage went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-5.
It could have been a different outcome for Pacifica, had it not been for Jorge Cardenas, the 24-year old center fielder . Cardenas contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Pacifica up, 2-0.
"I like what I saw today," said Pacifica manager Pete Barrett, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
Pacifica is now riding a 3-game win streak.
