| Beetlecats Win at Boise, 5-1 | The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats got a stellar performance from pitcher Alex Figueroa, who handcuffed the Boise offense en route to a 5-1 win at Basque Block Field. The win boosts the Beetlecats to 31-34. The loss puts the Hawks at 27-42.
Had Curt Hall not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Hall hit a 2-run double. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Beetlecats.
