Cornhuskers Squelch Wolverines Offense in Shutout Win

DeKalb starter Andrew Thompson had a strong outing against the Wichita Wolverines at The Corn Crib. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-0 win. DeKalb is 4th in the Roy Halladay League Bruce Bochy Division with a record of 30-37.

Gerald Easler aided the DeKalb cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher drew 2 walks.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Thompson.
