| Beehive Drop Bulldogs with Late Score | It was a good time at The Hive, where fans came to watch the Spokane Bulldogs and Madison Beehive get after it.
The Beehive grabbed a win, 6-3, at The Hive, overcoming a fine effort from Spokane pitcher Teagan Cooper. Cooper went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Chris Lembke got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. Kris Richardson converted his 6th save in 9 tries.
The Beehive got a big at-bat from third baseman Chris Suddath. For the game, Suddath was 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 12th double of the season gave Madison a 6-3 lead.
