| Wichita Wins, Bryant has 3 RBI | Wichita and DeKalb duked it out at The Corn Crib and the Wolverines came out victorious.
Eli Bryant left his imprint on the 9-6 Wichita win against the DeKalb Cornhuskers. Bryant, who is tied for 7th in the RHL in RBI with 43, was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Joel Stapleton notched his 21st save in 25 chances.
Bryant had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Wolverines went on to win.
"We take it day by day here," said Bryant, "and today was a good one for us."
The Wolverines bumped their record to 38-31 with this latest triumph.
