| Shamrocks Lose, 7-4, at The Sand Dune | The Biloxi Bullets knocked off the Pacifica Shamrocks, 7-4, at The Sand Dune. Júlio Jiménez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Biloxi won. The first baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Ramón García, credited with the win, is now 3-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Naoyuki Kikuchi was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 4 save opportunities.
Jiménez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-1 fastball from Dario Reyes, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Bullets a 5-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Jiménez.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Jiménez told reporters after the game.
Biloxi is now 31-33, while Pacifica is 38-30.
