The Madison Beehive downed the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 6-4, at The Hive. Gene Rush led the way, going 2-for-4 for Madison. The Beehive improved to 29-36.
Sean Howard, who is tied for 4th in the RHL in triples with 3, aided the Madison cause with a 2-run triple in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Madison manager Kiyomori Shimizu.
