| Red Bulls Rally For Late Win Over Hackers | Riverside Red Bulls starter Mike True pitched a strong game against the Silicon Valley Hackers at Red Bull Stadium, leading the Red Bulls to a 3-2 win. Riverside reliever Eddie Cory picked up the win to move to 1-2. Josh Bradshaw suffered the loss. Ramon Trinidad was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 16 of 17 save opportunities.
Steve Owensby, who is tied for 6th in the CLL in runs scored with 39, aided the Riverside cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"Feels good to get the job done," True said after the game.
Riverside is now 36-29, 4˝ games up in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League.
