| Spartans Continue Skid Thanks to Patty, Black Bears | Black Bears catcher Stephen Patty put his stamp on his team's 13-6 win over the Sandy Springs Spartans. Patty went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored once for Fraser Valley in the contest. The first-place Black Bears now have a 6-game winning streak.
Patty had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the third inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Black Bears went on to win.
"I like the roll we're on right now," said Patty after the game.
