| Late Rally by Hawks Secures Win | The Boise Hawks topped the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 1-0, in Cory Lidle League action at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The player of the game was Boise pitcher and Mascouche, Canada native Jan Woodbury. Jesús Ordóñez, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities. The last-place Hawks improved to 24-40.
Cletus Roop made it 1-0, Boise, in the top of the eighth when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was a big at-bat in the Hawks win.
"Runs were at a premium," said Boise manager Tom Becker.
