Reyes Now 4-4 After Subduing Storm Troopers

The Cincinnati Snaps did just enough to secure a 1-0 victory over the San Antonio Storm Troopers at The Studio. Nobody did more than pitcher Jose Reyes, who captured player of the game honors. Sean Bonin converted his 9th save in 11 tries. The Snaps now have a mark of 29-31.

Reyes, who dominated for Cincinnati, earned the victory to move to 4-4. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 5. San Antonio batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Yen-nien Zhou.
