| Tune-Ups Walk Off with Win | Youngstown played host to Riverside at the friendly confines of Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum.
The Tune-Ups faced a stiff challenge from Riverside pitcher Trey Puglisi, but persevered to claim a win at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The final score was 5-4. Puglisi went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. The win was credited to Keisaburo Kanada in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Cole Moore took the loss.
The Tune-Ups got a big at-bat from left fielder Chris Raney. For the game, Raney was 3-6 with 2 doubles. In the bottom of the 12th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 9th double of the season gave Youngstown a 5-4 lead.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Raney said.
Today's win puts Youngstown at 26-32, while Riverside falls to 33-27.
