| Snaps Fall to .500 After Loss to Mustang | The Carson City Mustang topped the Cincinnati Snaps, 5-4, in Roy Halladay League action at Cowboys Stadium. The player of the game was Carson City right fielder Emory Drewry. Hyun-sik Park locked down his 14th save. With the win over Cincinnati, the Mustang improved to 33-26.
Had David Mena not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Mena hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Mustang.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Mena, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
