| Hackers Turn Back Boise, 5-3 | Mark Kandah did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Boise Hawks from losing, 5-3, to the Silicon Valley Hackers at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Kandah was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Britt Diaz converted his 10th save in 10 tries. Silicon Valley is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Amari Cameron swatted a bases-clearing double for Silicon Valley in the bottom of the fourth. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 4.
"We take it day by day here," said Cameron, "and today was a good one for us."
