| Vesuvius Bang Out 8-2 Win Versus Biloxi | It was a good time at Conduit Caverns, where fans came to watch the Biloxi Bullets and Cape Verde Vesuvius get after it.
The Cape Verde Vesuvius bested the Biloxi Bullets, 8-2, at Conduit Caverns. Won-sub Pak was named player of the game. He was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Vesuvius bumped their record to 33-23 with this latest triumph.
The Vesuvius got a big at-bat from left fielder Gary Corbett. For the game, Corbett went 1-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 9th double of the season gave Cape Verde a 1-0 lead.
