| Bullets Come Back Late, Nip Vesuvius | The Biloxi Bullets faced a tough opponent in Cape Verde pitcher Tommy Pucher, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Conduit Caverns by a final score of 4-3. Pucher went 5 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The winner was Jeremy Jefferson in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Hitoshi Miyahira took the loss. Naoyuki Kikuchi earned the save for Biloxi, his 1st.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the eighth, with the game tied, Marco Sotelo was at the plate when Biloxi scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Bullets to go in front, 4-3.
Sotelo attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
The Bullets bumped their record to 28-25 with this latest triumph.
