Hackers Come Back Late, Nip Hawks

Silicon Valley rode a decent outing from starter Luis Silva to victory over the Boise Hawks at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The final score was 5-4. The winner was Britt Diaz in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Ray Toye took the loss. Silicon Valley, at 27-29, sits in second place in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Silicon Valley trailing 4-3, Jason Valentine hit a fastball from Ray Toye to right for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Hackers had a walk-off win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Silva said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
