| Multi-HR Day for Perez as Marauders Overpower Storm Troopers, 6-4 | Bradenton left fielder Jorge Perez was instrumental in his team's 6-4 win over the San Antonio Storm Troopers. Perez, who is tied for 7th in the RHL in triples with 2, went 2-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Marauders. Cory Roberts, credited with the win, is now 5-4. He allowed 4 runs on 5 hits in 8 innings. Bradenton goes to 23-31, San Antonio to 31-24.
Perez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch changeup from Frank Ramos, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Marauders a 6-4 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Perez.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Perez said.
