| Blazers Lose to Toreros, 9-8 | A 3-RBI performance from third baseman Kerry Hood, the 10th overall pick in the 2031 draft, led the Cabo San Lucas Toreros to a 9-8 win over the Bloomington Blazers. Mike Foust closed the game out for Cabo San Lucas, earning his 14th save. Cabo San Lucas leads the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division by 2 games.
The Toreros got a big at-bat from center fielder Mike Rizzo. For the game, Rizzo was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Cabo San Lucas a 8-7 lead.
